Supporting governments in the development of policies

Government & Policy Advisor.

Government advisor, ministry advisor, keynotes and policy advisory

What is a government and policy advisor?

A government and policy advisor is a professional who provides expert advice to public bodies such as governments, ministries and agencies. Their role is critical in shaping policies and strategies that address current challenges while preparing for future developments. They analyze trends, assess the impact of potential policies and provide insights that help public institutions make informed decisions. Their expertise often spans different areas such as technology, economics, education and social development. The goal is to ensure that government actions and policies are well-informed, forward-looking and aligned with the overall goals of societal progress and economic development. Their advice is instrumental in reshaping public services, promoting economic growth and ensuring that society and the economy are well prepared for future challenges and opportunities.

What is is the impact of a good policy advisor?

Policy advisors have a major influence on government decision-making and shape efficient, effective and forward-looking policies. Their knowledge of emerging trends and technologies enables governments to anticipate and adapt to the changing global landscape. By guiding policy-making, they improve public services, drive economic growth and ensure a proactive approach to government that bridges the gap between technological advances and societal needs. Their influence is crucial in preparing societies and economies for upcoming challenges and opportunities.

Why do I advise governments and public institutions?

My journey into consulting for governments and public institutions began when my theories, originally intended for local digital economic development, gained recognition. This led to invitations to give keynotes and workshops at various government departments, where my unique perspective quickly became apparent. I found that many civil servants, who often lacked background knowledge in these rapidly evolving areas, had a lack of understanding of innovation and the context of modern challenges. My role expanded as I was referred to other governments and institutions and was able to use my expertise to provide a fresh perspective.

Today, I advise dozens of public bodies and sit on various commissions, making an important contribution as a futurologist and policy advisor. In my work, I challenge assumptions, demystify technologies and help governments use them effectively. More than just a keynote speaker, I play a critical role in shaping policy and bring a deep understanding of how technology relates to society and the economy. This way I guided and influenced many public policies at a global level and ensure that governments are not only prepared for the future, but actively shape it.

“A future in which technology serves society, promotes innovation and at the same time is anchored in todays reality.”
